GroupValet has 3 different types of groups you can create:
1. Independent (requires a subscription)
2. Private (requires a parent organization to sign up with GroupValet, such as a country club, etc)
3. Public (requires a parent organization to sign up with GroupValet, such as a country club, etc)

If you want to convert your group to a different type (which can only be done if your email address is in the roster of a parent organization) just follow these steps.
1. Log in to groupvalet.com (this cannot be done in our app).
2. Under the My Groups tab, find your group and click Go to Group Homepage.
3. In the left sidebar, under Managers Only, open Group and then click Group Settings. Then go to the Membership & Type section.
4. Change the Group Type to the type you want to use.
5. Make sure all required fields are filled in and then click Update at the bottom of the page.
