When you create an activity/event, you have the option of sending the signup notices individually on your own schedule or as a Reminder Bundle.  Bundle are useful if you have more than one type of activity in your group or if your activity happens more than once per week.

If you only have an activity that happens once per week, or less often, then you do not need to use a Reminder Bundle.

A Reminder Bundle will literally bundle together the signups for multiple activities into 1 email, reducing the number of emails your members receive.

Here's an example.  Let's say you have a golf group that plays 3 times per week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. You've set things up so that signup notices are sent out 6 days prior and 4 days prior.

If you send out individual (ie, not bundled) notices, here are the emails your members would potentially receive:

Monday: the 4 day prior notice for Friday

Tuesday: the 6 day prior notice for Monday

Thursday: the 6 day prior notice for Wednesday AND the 4 day prior notice for Monday

Saturday: the 6 day prior notice for Friday AND the 4 day prior notice for Wednesday

Plus the confirmations and reminders.  This could potentially mean that members will receive up to 12 emails per week for your game.

To reduce this number, you can use bundles to send a group of notices together in 1 email.  This means your members might receive 4-5 emails per week instead.

When creating a bundle, select which day(s) of the week you want to send the bundle.  It can be sent once a week or twice a week.  Also, you can select how many days ahead the bundle should look.  For example, if you select 7 that means the bundle will include all upcoming activities where the signup cutoff is within the next 7 days.  This gives you complete flexibility over how many activities will appear in each bundle and how far in advance your members can sign up.

Our Reminder Bundles are smart, meaning that they are personalized for each member.  They will only include activities that the member has not already responded for.  If the member has already responded for all activities that should be in that bundle, one will not be sent to them.
