There are a number of different types of emails that are sent from GroupValet.  Some are similar looking.  Please see below for the differences between two similar types of emails.

Sign Up Notices

1. The subject line of a signup notice will start with the words “Sign up for…”

2. A signup notice will have both a Sign Up (green Thumbs Up) and Decline (red Thumbs Down) button.

3. Your name will NOT be displayed in the list of those already signed up.

Reminder Notices (reminding you that you’re already signed up)

1. A reminder notice will have a subject line that starts with the words “Your reminder for…”

2. A reminder notice might have a Cancel (red Thumbs Down) button (it will say Cancel, not Decline, as in a Sign Up Notice). Whether or not the Cancel button is there is up to the Group Captain.

3. A reminder notice will have the green box in the upper right stating that you’re signed up.

4. A reminder notice will show your name in the list of those already signed up.

The main difference is that Sign Up notices allow you to sign up, or decline, an activity whereas a Reminder notice lets you know you are already signed up and may allow you to cancel.
